Fishing Day Schedule

5:15 AM — Depart Scotia Lodge

Guests must use their own vehicle to travel from Scotia Lodge to Woodley Island Marina. Please leave the lodge no later than 5:15 AM.

5:45 AM — Arrive at the Marina

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. This allows time to park, meet the captain, load the boat and receive safety instructions.

6:00 AM — Boat Departure

The boat will leave promptly at 6:00 AM. Late arrivals may miss the trip and will not be eligible for a refund.

The fishing boat will generally travel approximately 8–12 miles into the Pacific Ocean. The exact fishing location will be determined by the captain based on weather, ocean conditions and where the fish are expected to be.

11:00 AM–12:00 PM or Later — Return to the Marina

Return time is not guaranteed. Depending on ocean conditions, fishing activity and the captain’s judgment, the boat may return around 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM—or remain on the water longer.

Please avoid scheduling other time-sensitive activities immediately after the fishing trip.

After the Fishing Trip

Once the boat returns, Scotia Lodge will assist with bringing your catch back to the lodge and storing it safely.

Freezing, packaging and shipping your catch to your home address are available for an additional cost. Final charges will depend on the weight of the catch, packaging requirements and shipping destination.
